This notice states who owns the File Conversion website, what you own when you convert a file, and how to report an infringement that actually appears on this site. The operator does not host user images.
1. Ownership of the Service
Unless a licence notice says otherwise, the File Conversion site — including its layout, copy, icons, logo, and original code — is owned by Alexandru Jungean or used under licence. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
The product name File Conversion, the phrase “Convert images without giving up your files”, and the visual system aligned with alexjungean.com are used to identify this tool. They are not a grant of a trade-mark licence to you.
2. Fonts and third-party works
Clash Display is licensed from Indian Type Foundry / Fontshare. Inter is licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Next.js and React are used under their MIT licences. See Licenses. You may not extract or redistribute the self-hosted font files except as those licences allow.
3. Your files
You keep your rights in files you convert. The operator does not obtain a copy and does not need a copyright licence from you to “host” those files. The output is a new file created on your device. Whether that output is a derivative work under copyright law is a question between you and the rights holders in the source — not a grant to the operator.
Do not convert a file if you are not allowed to create that derivative or to strip metadata. Keep the original when you need the source bytes or source metadata.
4. No user-generated hosting
File Conversion is not a hosting service, marketplace, or user-content platform. There is no public gallery and no upload inbox. A copyright notice-and-takedown process that assumes the operator stores your photo does not apply to conversion files, because those files are not on the server.
5. Complaints about site content
If you believe text, an icon, a font, or another asset published as part of this website infringes your copyright or related right, send a notice to alex.jungean@gmail.com that includes:
- Your name, email, and postal contact if you have one.
- The exact URL on convert.alexjungean.com.
- A description of the work and why you own or represent it.
- A statement that the use is not authorised, made in good faith.
- A statement that the information is accurate, and that you are the owner or an authorised agent.
The operator will review site assets the operator actually controls. The operator cannot remove a file from your computer or from a third party you sent an output to.
6. Linking
You may link to public, indexable routes. You may not imply sponsorship without permission. Framing is blocked by security headers.
